<\/h2>\nLove Your Car- If you have been driving around, you have seen all the fantastic summer auto shows. Then maybe attached to a park, carnival, or just for fun. There have been many in our area of Utah, and the summer is just getting underway.<\/p>\n
I have had a lot of cars over the years. Some of them I truly loved. Some of them were just so so. I remember a sister-in-law that said, how can you love your car? I had a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro metallic light blue, with an all-white interior. Of course, it had the classic chevy small block 327 cubic inch power plant. It was fast, fun an absolute pleasure to drive and ride in.<\/p>\n
The point of the story is that I loved the car. It was such a smooth ride, a classy, fabulous ride. It was effortless to love your car when you rode in it. However, as most good car affairs go. One day I decided to replace her. As I said, I have had many cars over the years. Ironically, I sold it to my brother, which in turn meant my sister-in-law. I think it was replaced with a Monster Ford Bronco\u2026 It was a truck phase, I guess.<\/p>\n
<\/h2>\nMy brother and his wife were both second marriages. The sarcastic thing here is that my sister-in-law\u2019s first husband was a race car driver. She often gave me a hard time when I said, \u201cYou should love your car\u201d She often spoke of her first husband expressing love for his cars. And She told me she could never understand why or how some would \u201clove your car.\u201d<\/p>\n
She lived in Logan Ut and frequently drove between Bountiful Ut, where I lived, and Logan. Only a few days had gone by after she and my brother took the car. When she came to me and stated, I love your car! I was surprised and questioned her. She went on to say how fast and clean it was. How she instinctively knew she was safe in that car. It didn\u2019t hurt that it was classy, and everyone looked at her when she drove past them so effortlessly.<\/p>\n
That car was a classic in every way. So classy and cool, then with a beautiful driver, it looked even more graceful as she passes by. To truly love your car, all you have to do is take good care of it. It has been said many times that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Well, the same is very accurate of cars. It does not matter if it is old or new, shiny or rusted. There is only one thing for sure; they will change (radically) in the future. So I employ you to love it because they will be different, almost unrecognizable in the future.<\/p>\n
