The company was established in 1985 as A-1 Personal Touch & Construction Remodeling. This name reflected the goal of providing a personal touch to every home throughout Salt Lake. Our goal is to have every customer beaming with pride of their homes with utmost confidence in our exterior products.

Owner Kevin Muir got his start in the remodeling industry during his high school years. As a sophomore, he worked part-time framing houses. He became proud of his craft and the inspiration to provide the best remodeling services in the Salt Lake City area was born.

Since 1985, the owner of A1 Remodeling has installed countless windows in homes throughout Salt Lake City. He along with his wife Kim operated the business. As the company expanded, the operation now includes his two daughters, Bonnie and Brooke, his son Chris, and sons-in-laws Andrew and Nick. Each family has their role in helping the business run smoothly, from customer service to installation.

Our dedication to customer satisfaction has brought us many referrals. We work hard to make our customers happy while offering exceptional exterior products for the home.
